Product Description:
If You Want to Walk on Water, You've Got to Get Out of the Boat is based on the passage in Matthew 14 where Peter walks on the water. But what is walking on water all about? It's more than just the physical experience, of course - a pair of inflatable life rafts attached to each foot could take care of that. Walking on water is about experiencing the power of God in your life, achieving something you would not be capable of doing on your own. Walking on water is about facing your fears and deciding that fear will not have the last word. Walking on water involves the euphoria of deciding to do what Jesus calls you to do even though you are very afraid. Jesus is still looking for people who will get out of the boat. If you get out of your boat - whatever your boat happens to be - you will have problems. There's a storm out there. Your faith will not be perfect. Failure will always be around a corner. But if you get out, two things will happen. First, if you fail - and you will fail sometimes - Jesus will be there to pick you up. You will not fail alone. You will find he is wholly adequate to save you. And the second thing is, every once in a while, you will succeed in walking on the water! But, if you want to walk on the water, you've got to get out of the boat.
